TNR + Cat Rescue in Brooklyn, NY
We work to humanely address the cat overpopulation and welfare crisis by reducing the number of cats born outdoors and increasing the quality of life for those that are.
Our primary focus is trap-neuter-return for feral cats living outside. We also work to rescue and adopt out friendly cats and kittens abandoned in our neighborhoods as we find them and as resources allow.
To date, we’ve TNR’d and rescued over 160 cats and counting!

Foster
Open your heart and home to a recently rescued cat or kitten(s). Fostering is typically a 3 month commitment and you get support every step of the way. You don’t need lots of space - your bathroom and love are more than enough!

Who we are | Where we work
The Carroll St Cat Club started in 2021 as a small effort to help a dozen sick, feral cats struggling to survive behind an apartment building in Brooklyn.
Through a lot of effort and learning, we managed to TNR the entire colony, provide them life saving medical treatments, and socialize / adopt the majority into loving homes.
Now we work to extend that same level of care to all the cats in the Prospect Heights, western Crown Heights, and Prospect Lefferts Gardens neighborhood.
We are a small, volunteer-powered team. We focus our efforts to a limited catchment area so that we may have maximum impact for the cats living there.
Rescue takes a village! We are only able to feed, rescue, and provide life-saving medical care for outdoor cats and kittens with the support of our larger community. Help us help them by making a donation below!
